Using Google Forms to make PARCC-Like Assessments
We recommend that teachers allow students to experience the PARCC testing platform and become familiar with the types of tasks and questions they will see on the test prior to the testing window. Teachers should provide students with multiple opportunities to explore the sample items and practice tests. This can be done as a whole class, in pairs, and/or independently. Include time to debrief after interacting with the practice tests. Below are descriptions of the resources available on the PARCC website to help students prepare for the test.

PARCC Sample Items: Students can practice using computer-based tools to respond to the various item types. The sample items are not scored.
PARCC Tutorial:
Begin here with students. Students will learn how to interact with the technological features of the assessment. They will practice arrowing forward and back, from question to question, learn how to review to make sure that all questions have been answered, flag questions to come back to, and navigate the math tools.
PARCC Practice Tests:
The separate math and ela practice assessments include questions that sample the PARCC assessment experience. When completed, these assessments will be scored. Students will need to sign in for this.
