Accessibility and Accommodations
Q. What do we do if there are changes to a students accommodations?
A. Any adjustments to accommodations for 504 or IEP plans should be made in programs and services within SISK12 and communicated to your Special Services Supervisor and Test Coordinator. Any adjustments to accommodations for EL students should be made in programs and services within SISK12 and communicated to your Principal and Test Coordinator. In both cases, the Test Coordinator will notify the District Coordinator so that the changes are reflected in PearsonAccess Next.
Q. Do students who are new to the U.S. take the ELA assessment?
A. No, students who are new to the U.S. (have been attending school in the U.S. for less than one full academic years) are exempt from taking the ELA assessment.
